I’m confused here. The yellow triangle means “Not Vegan, but can be customized to be vegan”.
You cannot make a single batch of vegan fries at a fast food restaurant.. So your website is misleading at best.
We’ve found that people searching for vegan ingredients adhere to different ‘levels’ of veganism – some are OK with potatoes cooked in vegetable oil that happens to have touched animal products, for instance. So we label it as such – the item itself has vegan ingredients, but many vegans who don’t want products cooked in communal oil should know about that.
In the case of burger restaurants, there are often few good truly vegan items available, so for Fatburger we have added them to the “Best Fatburger Vegan Food Options” section because that’s literally the best option for a vegan to eat here if this restaurant is their only option.
