Micaela was born in Ravenna, a small city on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, Italy. Since she was a child, she has expressed her passion for cooking and food, to the point of spending every weekend cooking with her mother and grandmother, learning many recipes from the Italian culinary tradition. She graduated in Economic Statistics at the famous Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (city where she currently lives), and attended numerous photo retouching and graphic designer courses, until she became a professional photo editor and finally a professional photographer. She has decided to fulfill her dream of working with food, her true passion. After attending some cuisine courses, Micaela now works as a professional food photographer, food stylist and recipe developer for people all over the world!
