The Atlantic is on the case! In an article ominously entitled “The Very Real Danger of Genetically Modified Foods,” author Ari LeVaux exposes what’s lurking in our veggies. Dun dun dunnnn. Here are some very major points to take away from the article, though many implications are yet to come.
Whole Foods confirmed via email that that Skinny Girl cocktails ‘did not meet their quality standards’ so they had to stop selling it. The offending ingredient, which is not listed on the bottles because there is no ingredient list at all, turns out to be Sodium Benzoate.
FDA is preparing to announce its approval of genetically engineered salmon soon. Even worse, this fish may not even be labelled as genetically engineering or genetically modified.
