More Eggs Added to Recall

Cal-Maine has added another 1440 eggs to the recall. The eggs came from Ohio Fresh Eggs, which is owned by the same people responsible for the more than half billion eggs recalled in August of this year. The eggs have the potential to be infected with salmonella. Consumers are advised to return the eggs to the store where they were purchased.

Another Egg Recall, Same Folks

Ohio Fresh Eggs, an egg factory farm co-owned by the owners of Hillandale Farms and Wright County Egg – yes, the folks behind the half billion egg recall – have found a positive sample of salmonella at their Croton, Ohio facility. No illnesses have been reported in conjunction with this recall. 288,000 eggs are being recalled.

380 Million Eggs Recalled for Salmonella Infection

Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa has issued a recall for 380 million eggs possibly infected with salmonella. The company is a repeat offender of environmental laws and has paid fines for federal immigration charges and animal cruelty charges.
