Kristen Porter began writing for publication in the early 1990’s when she won an annual essay contest in the Humanist magazine. She is a corporate attorney by day and an artist and writer by night. She writes a daily blog, “Everyday Travels – enjoying the journey, mile by mile” (www.everyday-travels.com) and is a freelance writer for several web publications. Kristen, her husband and eight year-old daughter live in West Michigan
