In the summer, there’s nothing quite as perfect as a ripe peach eaten straight out of hand. But I find them so irresistible at farmers markets and at pick-your-own farms that I often end up with more ripe peaches than I can eat!
What’s your favorite way to use ripe peaches?
I really like this Peach and Rasberry Crisp from Ina Garten. I’ve always been more of a crisp kind of girl than a cobbler-type, so I love the topping on this luscious summer dessert.
If you’re anything like me, you have about a dozen ripe peaches sitting in your fridge begging to be eaten. What are your plans for them? Share your favorite recipe as a comment!

I just made a batch of peach hot sauce yesterday, and that might be my new favorite! It was perfect for using the one over-ripe peach I found in our fridge.
Um, this is only the greatest idea ever. Do you have a recipe???
I do! Just got it written up today:

If you don't like things too spicy, you might add more peach preserves, but I like hot sauce with a kick!
