On August 20, 2012, the fifty-four junior chef winners of the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge were treated to a Kids’ State Dinner, hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama. More than 1200 healthy lunchtime recipes were submitted by kids between the ages of eight and twelve.

Recipes for Healthy Kids Challenge

Create a healthy recipe in one of three categories and you could win up to $3000. The Recipes for Healthy Kids Challenge aims to find new healthy, delicious recipes for use in the National School Lunch Program.
