Thanks to the dedication of a few individuals who spent almost every waking moment devoted to saving our agricultural heritage by saving seeds, the tragic loss of that diversity is being mitigated. Gathering, Memoir of a Seed Saver, is the autobiography of Diane Ott Whealy, co-founder of Seed Savers Exchange. It is the story of her life and commitment to saving the seeds of literally thousands of unique edible plants, to ensure that they and their stories would not disappear forever.
