This new video from Jerry James Stone caught my eye for its simplicity and amazing taste. We followed the recipe exactly, except we used sauvignon blanc, and it was a real crowd pleaser.

K. Furtado Santa Barbara McGinley Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2010
The wine is yellow gold in color. It has the typical, deep and balanced aromas of honey, lemon balm and pear. The lemon aromas tend to especially evolve as the wine opens in the glass, often leading to a bit of grassy or even toasty meringue notes. There is also the seductive aromas of French oak that give the nose the right amount lift.
mmmm- great suggestion for the upcoming picnic season! I can’t wait to try it out.
