Any type of plants that throw out “climber” vines will be able to grow up a trellis. This includes cucumbers, winter squash, pumpkins, grapes, watermelon, and of course, all types of pole beans.
Growing these types of plants will not only save you money during the harvest months but will benefit your health, and there are all sorts of ways that you can include them in your daily meals. The best part is that you can pick them off the vine and they are ready for eating – all they need is a quick rinse.
