Reminder: A Few Days Left to Win Recipe Cards

Can you believe the holidays are almost here? If you need some cute stocking stuffers, recipe cards might just fit the bill.  The cooks in your life will love a pack of blank recipe cards to write down their favorite dishes, or you can use them share your own recipes!

Recipe cards from the big box store often printed on virgin paper and printed with petroleum-based ink. No, thank you! Instead of store-bought cards, the folks at UPrinting are offering a pack of 100 free printed postcards, so one lucky Eat Drink Better reader can design his or her own custom recipe cards. Of course, you can really design anything you like, but I thought recipe cards might be a cool gift idea and something you fellow foodies would enjoy.

Uprinting uses soy-based inks and 55 percent recycled paper to print their postcards, and they offer a couple of different paper types. If you want to choose the greenest, the uncoated cardstock is the way to go, since the coating on glossy paper is usually made from plastic.
