It’s Christmas eve! My mom and in-laws are coming to town tomorrow, the stocking are hung, the tree is ready, and the presents are piled underneath. Today is all about prep work: cutting veggies, making marinades, and whipping up sauces so that tomorrow won’t be too hectic with family here.
Whether you do the Christmas thing or not, I hope you have a wonderful week full of good food, good friends, and family!
Just like Thanksgiving, Christmas always gets me thinking about what I’m grateful for, and one of the things that’s warmed my heart this year has been seeing Eat Drink Better grow, evolve, and form such a beautiful food community around it. I am lucky enough to work with an amazing team of writers, and I love reading all of your thoughtful notes and comments, both on our posts and via email.
We can get so swept up in shopping and cooking and stress that we forget about gratitude during this hectic time of year, so I wanted to take this chance to say thank you for reading, commenting, and supporting the site! We can’t wait to see where things go in 2013!
