    I became a vegetarian at the age of seven (41 years ago). My family members were not, so mealtimes were a struggle. I brought my lunch to school every day thereafter and tried as I could to find foods that were healthy. Back then canned vegetables and crackers with lard dominated. Things have changed for the better and it’s much easier to find healthy, organic food in grocery stores and restaurants. Chow Down sounds interesting and right up my alley!
