Dog Treat Recipes: Your Pups Want To Eat Better Too

These Pups Want Dog Treats

We have two dogs. Big Daddy, our husky, seven-year-old lab mix, has some serious self-esteem issues. We rescued him when he was about 9 months after having had a pretty rough puppy-hood. Jolielle, our 6-month-old rescue, just joined the family. She is canine mischief in a sassy Australian Shepherd, Catahoula Hound Dog-like body. She eats bras.

While they can’t speak, I know they want to eat better, just like us. So I make homemade dog treats for my furry friends. They slobber for them, and I feel better knowing where they came from and what they’re made of. We often argue about which one of us our pups love most. Make these treats, and there will be no doubt that you are Top Dog. Here are a couple of their favorite recipes.
