They’re also teaching the kids about square foot gardening, which is a great method for growing a lot of food in a small space.
They planted these black eyed peas, but Kyla told us that last year they just tossed some in an unused area to serve as ground cover, and they took off! They didn’t even water them – the peas just grew like mad.
