Be Inspired by a Short Video on Traditional, Sustainable Food

Rice Terraces

On this or another crazy-busy day, I hope you will take a break for five minutes to watch an inspired video about traditional, sustainable farming in the incredible rice terraces of Yuanyang, China. The Hani people have been cultivating this land, surrounded by mountains and trees they revere, for more than 1,300 years.

This is but one of many short films from The Perennial Plate — an online documentary series filmed and edited by Daniel Klein and Mirra Fine. I adore their work, and I think you will too — let me know if you think this was five minutes well spent.
