Wanna’ drop by Starbucks for a Gingerbread Latte? Before you do — heads up! A large cup of that tasty holiday beverage contains 47 grams of sugar. Seriously.

HuffPost Healthy Living’s original video series, Unreal Eats, crafted a quick video showing how a variety of retail holiday drinks stack up in sugar content. Are you a fan of Dunkin’ Donuts’ Red Velvet Latte? 68 grams of sugar are coming your way. Happy to enjoy a Jamba Juice Eggnog Jubilee? 96 grams of sugar will enter your body.

By the way, the American Heart Association recommends women consume no more than 6 teaspoons (about 24 grams of sugar) a day and men no more than 9 teaspoons (about 36 grams). Sugar has been linked to many ugly conditions, like diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, depression, and headaches.

We all deserve some holiday cheer! But before you choose to indulge, watch this quick video, so you can drink up with your eyes wide open.

    My favorite is Salted Caramel Mocha but I’ve been sticking with Caffe Americanos. Sigh. (I do sip from my hubby’s Salted Caramel Mocha, though!)
