The folks at Francis Ford Coppola Winery sent a nice reminder to enjoy some cocktails — and summer — before it ends.

3 Summer Cocktail Recipes

Summer will officially end on Saturday, September 21 and so when Francis Ford Coppola Winery, one of my favorite wineries, sent some summer cocktail recipes, I vowed to try them before, well, summer ends.

Located in Alexander Valley, California, Francis Ford Coppola Winery’s 24-acre property features two restaurants, a full bar, a wine tasting room, two swimming pools, a movie gallery, a performing arts Pavilion and a park area with game tables and bocce courts. But it is not just a place for fun.  The winery is also squarely committed to sustainability. Along with everything else, visitors will “discover a place dedicated to responsible, harmonious stewardship of the land.” They boast electric charging stations, energy-efficient architecture and farm-to-table restaurants. Its a great place to visit if you are ever in Sonoma County.

These are ‘simple but stylish’ end-of-summer cocktails. As the folks at Coppola say:  There’s no better way to celebrate these precious remaining summer days than with a light and festive take on wine cocktails.
