This contemplative book filled with beautiful language, art, photography, and, of course, delicious recipes is perfect for a spring-themed gift or for placing on your own coffee table. The author is also an artist and the book is full of her paintings of her garden. Recipes are likewise inspired by her garden and they are divided into groups by the seasons.

Her love for her work shines through the writing and draws you in. She has authored many gift books, including Flight Plans: A Bird’s Eye View of Life and a series of natural studies. The Artist, the Cook, and the Gardener: Recipes Inspired by Painting from the Garden is available as a hardcover on Amazon for about $16.
