This is a giveaway from our partners at UPrinting. All opinions are 100% mine.

recipe cards

The holidays are just around the corner, and recipe cards make great stocking stuffers! You can give your giftee a pack of blank recipe cards, like in the photo above, if he’s into cooking, or you can write in your favorite recipes down to share.

The problem with store-bought recipe cards is that they’re often printed on virgin paper cut from ancient forests, and the printing process used to create them isn’t always the greenest, either. Plus, if you design your own cards, you know that the gift you’re giving is 100% unique! That’s why I was super excited when the folks at UPrinting offered up a pack of 100 postcards to one lucky Eat Drink Better reader.

Of course, you can use the online postcard printing from UPrinting to design anything you like, but I thought you guys might dig the idea of designing your own recipe cards.

Uprinting uses soy-based inks and 55 percent recycled paper to print their postcards, and they offer a couple of different paper types. If you want to choose the greenest, the uncoated cardstock is the way to go, since the coating on glossy paper is usually made from plastic.

Ready to win some postcard? Here’s how to enter!

How to Enter

Remember to leave a separate comment for each entry, so that we can count them all!!

  • Leave a comment here letting us know what you’d use the recipe cards for.

  • Follow UPrinting on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+, and let us know with a comment here.

You can do one or multiple entries, and each one gets you your name in the hat. Just leave a separate comment here on the giveaway post for each entry to make sure they all get counted.

Prize Details

One winner will receive 100 single-side printed 5″ X 7″ postcards. There is a 2 business day turnaround on these cards, and they’re asking that we limit entries to U.S. residents only. Check out the options to choose from below! You can choose from 14pt Cardstock Gloss / Matte / High Gloss (UV), or 13pt Cardstock Uncoated postcards.

I would use the recipe cards as holiday gifts for my family members. I’ve had the idea all year of creating a vegan recipe book for them and these cards would be perfect!

I’m following you and UPrinting on all social media. :-)

  • http://blog.y3p.net Ganesha

I would love to share my favorite recipes with my mother, who is forever wondering “What do you people eat?!”

  • Amanda

I would use them as place-cards on a holiday table and each person can then write their favorite holiday recipe on the reverse so you would always remember who loves what recipe (and pick up some yummy tips!)

  • Ally M

I would use them to share recipes with friends!

  • Jeanee Ledoux

I’d ask the stellar cooks in my Louisiana family to write down their best recipes when I go home for the holidays!

I would love these! I would use them for my recipes but especially to share with my friends. These are super cool. I really love it when companies take toxins out of their products and go green. Printing is one of the most polluted industries so these are especially cool.

I would use them to give with baked goods or maybe mixes in jars.

  • laura louise

I would love to get these recipe cards! I would use them for a project with my farmers, dropping a recipe card off each week when I pick up food and have each farmer share their favorite recipe for one of the veggies being harvested that week. The farmers around us are as diverse as the crops coming in.
I am sure this would make for a great collection of dishes.

    These cards are so cute!
I would love to use them to organize my Fall recipes.

  • Liz Stricklen

I spent about 30 seconds contemplating making the food for my wedding, so if I was to embark on that insanity, these cards would be the perfect way to get organized!

I would love to have the cards. I am transforming some recipes and making them healthier by adding protein powder. The cards would be great for the recipes that actually work, that is healthier and taste good. I work out a lot, so consumption of good recipes + protein is beneficial. And, the cards would be so cute when I share my recipes.
