You Don’t Have to be Vegan to Eat Vegan Food
Vegan Breakfast Ideas
- oatmeal with brown sugar and cinnamon
- toast with apricot preserves and a banana
- coffee with almond milk or soy milk
- black tea
- a smoothie with juice or almond milk
Vegan Lunch Ideas
- avocado sandwich with arugula, onion, and tomato
- veggie wrap with hummus
- black bean burger with sweet potato fries
- lentil soup and a veggie samosa
Vegan Dinner Ideas
- stir fried veggies with nuts or tofu over rice or noodles
- pasta primavera
- baked potato topped with sauteed beans and veggies
- three bean chili
Of course, these are just a jumping off point, and I tried to stick mainly with simple food that you may even already be eating. There’s a whole world of tasty vegan recipes out there! If you start to feel like your vegan cooking is in a rut, handle it just like you would any other cooking rut: pick up a vegan cookbook for some recipe inspiration!
