Cucumbers
Growing cucumbers on a trellis isn’t as common among backyard gardeners, but it really makes for great cucumbers. You will get more cucumbers and the plants will benefit from being higher off the ground. These cucumbers will taste great straight off of the vine, and will be filled all sorts of good juiciness. Cucumbers are known as a natural body coolant, and you feel that as soon as you take your first bite. They are, if not the most refreshing, one of the most refreshing. Juicing cucumbers is very popular, and some of the health benefits of juicing cucumbers include helping with:
- Arthritis
- Acne
- Hair Loss
- Kidneys
- Fluid Retention
- High Blood Pressure
- Psoriasis
In fact, juicing your vegetables is one of the main reasons growing your own veggies is such a great idea! Juicing can become really expensive if you are getting all of your vegetables from the grocery stores as you will go through a lot of vegetables to get your daily fix. Juicing your vegetables is one of the healthiest things you can do for your body. Since it puts your veggies in liquid form, your body can absorb and react to all of the healthy vitamins and minerals right away.
Pumpkins
Yes, you’ve heard of a pumpkin patch, but pumpkins can also grow up a trellis. Not only will you save money on pumpkin pie, but you can take the time to enjoy carving your own pumpkins for the Halloween season. Pumpkins are good for your bladder and kidneys and are a good source of the following nutrients.
