I’d bet that the American Chemistry Council’s data is probably pretty darn biased. I know that many plastic producers are working hard to show that BPA is safe, but I don’t believe data from companies and advocacy groups that have a vested interest in continued use of the stuff.

The data here was hand picked and bias. Check out the American Chemistry Council, Health Canada, The EFSA and the NTP for updated correct data. You can also research journal articles for the actual research done on BPA. The data you have here is incorrect.

I think manufacturers should be proactive and start eliminating the use of BPA now. Regulation seems likely to happen eventually; it shouldn’t be left to consumers to figure out which products they’re buying at the store contain BPA.
