There is another certification called "utz" meaning "good inside". They offer health care to farmers and their families. They also let the farmers decide how much they want to sell their coffee for, rather then assign them a fixed price like fair trade does. You might want to look into it. I think Fair Trade is overrated. http://www.utzcertified.org/

A strong cup of coffee in the morning can feel like a life saver. The study tracked 129,000 men and women over two decades. It found that people who consumed several cups of coffee every day were less likely to die of heart disease than those who shied away from the stuff. Heart disease is an umbrella term for conditions including heart attacks, stroke, and arrhythmia.

I am aware of some of the health benefits of coffee. Some other health benefits include preventing type-2 diabetes, diseases like alzheimers, as well as parkinson's disease.

Of course, there are also unhealthy benefits from drinking coffee. It is suggested to try to drink no more than 4 cups of coffee per day. As they say, everything in moderation. Coffee is no different.

Thank you for letting me share...
